Kirkland-based patent licensing firm Pendrell Corporation said Monday evening that it has named Mario Obeidat as its new Vice President of Licensing. Pendrell snags Obeidat from fellow patent licensing firm Intellectual Ventures, where he was heading up telecommunications licensing for Intellectual Ventures. Obeidat also has served at InterDigital. Pendrell, like Intellectual Ventures, is accumulating a trove of technology patents, which it then licenses to companies.
