PicMonkey Snags Big $41M Funding Round

Seattle-based PicMonkey, which develops a web-based, photo editing app, has raised $41M in a big funding round, the company disclosed today. The funding came from private equity investor Spectrum Equity. PicMonkk, which is led by Jonathan Sposato, let users edit, touch up, and create collections of photos to share with their friends and users. The company says it has more than 25 million monthly users.
