Placed, which develops location analytics software, said Tuesday that it has launched a new service called Placed Panels. The firm said the service, which is free, measures the real world behavior of panelists who opt-in to the service, letting companies understand the places that their customers are visiting in the real world. Placed is venture funded by Madrona, and helps marketers understand how people are interacting with their mobile websites and apps.
