Beaverton, Oregon-based Planar Systems announced late Tuesday that the firm has closed the sale of the rest of the firm's CoolSign Digital Signage business. The firm said the sale was to CS Software Holdings LLC. The sale comes shortly after the November sale of rights to CoolSign's business in the gaming field to Bally Gaming. Financial terms of either sale were not disclosed. Planar said the sale closed on December 26th. Planar's digital signage software is used by banks, retailers, and others to control networked digital signs and displays.
