    PopCap Games Buys Retro64


    Seattle-based PopCap Games announced today that it has acquired Retro64, a publisher of arcade style action and puzzle games. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Retro64 is based in Chicago, and has become a satellite development studio for PopCap. PopCap currently publishes the title Venice, which was developed by Retro64. PopCap said that Mike Boeh, founder and chief producer of Retro64, will join the firm and manage its Chicago office. Retro64 was founded in 2001.
