 Tuesday, October 16, 2007 PopCap Hires HR VPCasual video game publisher PopCap Games reported Monday that it has hired Pamela Sampel to fill the newly created position of vice president of human resources. PopCap described Sampel as a human resources veteran with more than 20 years of employee management experience. The Seattle-based company said she will help manage a rapidly expanding staff that has grown from 75 full-time employees to more than 160 in the past year. PopCap added that Sampel joins the company after more than four years at Group Health, one of Washington state's five largest employers. PopCap said she also spent more than 10 years with KCTS, a public television network in Seattle. posted on Tuesday, October 16, 2007
