PopCap Sets Bejeweled 3 Launch Date

Seattle-based casual games developer PopCap Games said today that it is about to launch its latest sequel to its popular Bejeweled franchise, Bejeweled 3. According to PopCap, the new game will be launched on December 7th, and will cost $19.95. the firm said the new game includes updated version of its four original game modes, new secret games, and a new Quest mode. PopCap has been publishing Bejeweled for over 10 years, and its says it is now one of the top 10 video game franchises in history, with over 50 million units sold across 17 platforms.
