Porch Gets $6.25M For Home Services Marketplace

Seattle-based Porch said today that it has raised $6.25M in a funding round for its service, which helps homeowners connect with home improvement, maintenance, and repair service providers. The startup said the funding came from angel investors SV Angel/Ron Conway, Chamath Palihapitiya, Jeff Skoll, Bill Lee, Geoff Entress, Charles Moldow, Javier Olivan, and 20 other angel investors. The company was founded by Matt Ehrlichman, who previously founded events firm Thrivia, which he sold to Active Network.
