The deadline for local Portland startups looking to gain some funding and help in launching their startups is today, as the Portland Seed Fund closes its applications for its latest class. The accelerator program's latest class is expected to launch in late August, with a Demo Day in early December. the Portland Seed Fund invests $25,000 in an initial investment, and follows a 90 day program topped by a demo day where companies pitch to investors.
