Radiant Zemax Buys UK Firm

Redmond-based Radiant Zemax, a developer of test and measurement tools for the optics, illumination, and design industry, said Tuesday that it has acquired UK-based Optima Research. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Radiant Zemax said the acquisition will help it support its clients and partners in the EU. Radiant Zemax makes software for designing light engines for digital projectors, solar collectors, lenses, telescopes, lighting systems, and more.
