RadiSys Buys Pactolus

Hillsboro, Oregon-based Radisys said Thursday afternoon that it has acquired Pactolus Communications Software Company, a developer of software used for SIP-enabled, voice over IP networks. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. RadiSys said that Pactolus develops SIP software for implementing large operator-assisted event and reservationless audio conferencing, prepaid/post-paid long distance services, residential/business Class 5 VoIP, and voice messaging.
