Bellevue-based ReadyPulse, a developer of tools to help companies find brand advocates through social media, has raised an initial round of funding, and appointed a CEO, the company said Tuesday. The firm--a spinout of Moxie Software--did not disclose the amount of funding, which came from Moxie Software. The firm said it has appointed Dennis O'Malley as its new CEO. O'Malley was previously head of Moxie's Global Services and Insight Division; he also has served at Gartner. The other co-founders of ReadyPUlse are Srinivas Penumaka, T Vinod Gupta, and Mihir Vaidya, the rest of the team from Moxie which develops the ReadyPulse platform. More information »
