RealGames Rolls Mobile Publishing Service

Seattle-based RealGames said yesterday that it has rolled out a new product, Federation of Studios, which is designed to help small and mid-sized developers port their games to 1700 mobile handsets. According to RealGames, the platform--which will be available at no up-front cost to those developers--supports porting those games to 8 different operating systems, supporting 130 carriers. The new product supports J2ME, BREW, iPhone, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, Android, Nintendo DSi, and Flash. Details on the financial aspects of the new porting platform were not disclosed.
