Seattle-based RealNetworks said Thursday that it has released its latest generation of its Helix Universal Media Server, its products which helps companies stream their content across a wide range of devices. RealNetworks said its Media Server offers universal streaming across iOS, Android, tablet, PC, Mac, Smart TV, and other devices. The updated software now supports digital rights management features, the MPEG-DASH standard, and other updates.
