    Redfin Hires CTO


    Seattle-based Redfin said today that it has hired a new CTO. Michael Young has joined the firm as chief technology officer. Young was most recently a lead program manager at Microsoft, where he worked on BizTalk Server. He has also served at Plumtree Software, where he was chief architect, and at ViewStar. Redfin operates an online real estate brokerage. The firm is venture backed by BEV Capital, Madrona Venture Group, The Hillman Company, and Vulcan Capital.
