Reductive Labs Gets $2.0M

Portland-based Reductive Labs announced this morning that the firm has raised $2M in a funding round, for its enterprise IT automation tools. The funding came from True Ventures, and other, unnamed private investors. According to the firm, it will use the funding to expand the company and enhance its software. Reductive Labs said that its open source software framework, Puppet, allows IT staff to manage their IT infrastructure much like software, rather than IT staff. The firm said the software treats IT services like code, and offers features such as audit trails, policies being carried out, and more. The company is headed by Luke Kanies. More information »
