Rentrak Adds Blu-Ray Support

Portland-based Rentrak said Thursday that it has added Blu-ray Disc support to the firm's Screen Media DVD revenue sharing program. The program offers rental retailers a wider selection of titles in exchange for a portion of those retailer's rental fees when those titles are rented. The program previously only supported the standard DVD format.
