    Resolute Bumps Former CTO Thompson to COO


    Business and technology consulting firm Resolute Solutions Corp. reported yesterday that it has promoted Mark Thompson to the role of chief operating officer. The former chief technology officer’s responsibilities now focus on driving market growth in professional services and product businesses. Thompson will also be responsible for client delivery, sales and marketing operations, Resolute said. Prior to joining the Bellevue, Wash.-based company, Thompson served as chief operating officer and senior vice president of technology at The Ackerley Group. Before that, he was a practice director with the Claremont Technology Group. Founded in 1996, Resolute Solutions Corp. is a privately held company.
