SAManage Gets Venture Funding

SAManage, a publisher of hosted IT governance and compliance software, announced late last week that it has secured its first round of venture financing. SAManage declined to disclose the amount of the funding. However, the Seattle-area firm credited Xenia Venture Capital with leading the Series A effort. Existing angel backers also participated, SAManage noted, adding that the money will be used to fund growth and accelerate product development. Headquartered in Redmond, Wash., SAManage provides on-demand information technology asset management applications for small businesses up to corporate enterprises.
