Sampa Raises $1M In Angel Round
Redmond-based Sampa, which develops tools that allows users to share pictures, stories, videos, and other information on the web, said today that it has raised $1M in an angel funding round led by Geoff Entress. According to founder Marcelo Calbucci, the funding also included other angel investors, including former executives from Microsoft, Netscape, Lightsurf and the founder of WhitePages.com. Sampa operates an online site focused on helping families share pictures, stories, videos, and more.
