Sandlot Games, a publisher of casual and family-friendly entertainment software, announced earlier this week that its Cake Mania title has been ported to the Macintosh format and is now available for purchase. Sandlot said the port is part of a corporate initiative to make its most popular titles accessible across multiple platforms. Currently, Cake Mania is available in PC, Mac, mobile and handheld versions, Sandlot said. The Bothell, Washington-based company explained that Cake Mania, which has been downloaded some 50 million times, is a time-management game in which players help an entrepreneur open and operate a bakery. Copies of the game can be purchased for $19.99 at the firm's web site.
