ScaleOut Software Releases Tools

Beaverton, Oregon-based ScaleOut Software, a developer of grid computing software, said today that the firm has released a new suite of software tools aimed at the grid computing market. According to the firm, it has released a new product called the ScaleOut Management Pack, which offers backup and restore, plus object browsing of objects stored in the firm's distributed cache software. ScaleOut Software develops products used to scale out software applications using grid computing. The firm's software stores cached data from transactions, web sites and high performance web computing applications through distributed server farms.
