Seattle-based SEOmoz, the search engine optimization outfit run by Rand Fishkin, said last night that it is gearing up for a launch of a new, social analytics feature in its PRO Web App. According to Fishkin, it is gearing up to allow a 1,000 users to beta a social media analytics feature which tracks growth and traffic from Twitter, Facebook, and potentially other social services. The firm said that the features will track growth of Twitter and Facebook apps, traffic from Facebook and Twitter, as well as such metrics as followers, replies, mentions, retweets, and overall interaction. Fishkin also said that the new feature may expand to also include LinkedIn and Google+ data.
