Shelfari Soups Up Book Widget

Seattle-based Shelfari said late Tuesday evening that it has launched a souped up version of the firm's web widget. The company, which allows users to share and discuss books, is backed by Amazon.com. The firm said the new widget allows users of the firm's services to feature their books on virtual "bookshelf" -- which appears like a real bookshelf. The new widget features mahogany, oak, and brushed steel "look and feel", versus the prior version of the firm's widget, which just displayed the covers of books.
