ShopIgniter Partners With Social Marketing Firm

Portland-based ShopIgniter, the social commerce software developer headed by Matt Compton, said Tuesday that it has partnered with social marketing firm Involver. The two said that they will deliver a product which will help business manage content, commerce, promotions and analytics on the social web. Financial details of the arrangement were not announced. ShopIgniter is venture backed by Trinity Ventures and Madrona Venture Group; the firm's customers include Nike Golf, the Portland Trail Blazers, and CafePress.
