Silicon Mechanics Rolls HPC Line
Bothell, Washington-based Silicon Mechanics, a developer of rackmount servers, storage, and other products for the high performance computing (HPC) market, said Monday that it has launched a new product. Silicon Mechanics said its new Hyperform ICR Cluster is a Intel Cluster-certified cluster, a collection of its servers, interconnects, operating system, and cluster applications, which can be used to create high performance computing clusters. The product includes rackmount servers and middleware, and can be configured on the firm's web site.
