    SinglePoint Provides Mobile Alerts For Olympics


    Bellevue, Washington-based SinglePoint is supplying its mobile alerting technology to NBC, as part of a mobile alerts features for NBC's coverage of the Beijing Olympic Games, the firm said late last week. SinglePoint did not disclose the size or financial impact of the deal, but said that it was selected to build the mobile laerts program for NBC's Olympic coverage; the firm's services are being used for providing breaking news, athlete alerts, medal results, and event reminders during the games. SinglePoint provides mobile advertising and messaging services with entertainment and media companies; the firm has an existing relationship with NBC Universal and its networks, which include Bravo, Oxygen, SciFi, CNBC, MSNBC, Telemundo, and USA Network, in addition to other customers.
