SinglePoint Raises $30M

Bellevue, Washington-based Wireless Services Corp. said today that it has closed a $30.75M series C funding round, and changed the name of the firm to SinglePoint. The firm will remain headquartered in Bellevue. Wireless Services Corp said it acquired Mobile Media North America with the funding. The round of investment came from Ignition Partners, and included new investor Rally Capital Services LLC and existing investors Northwest Venture Associates, Madrona Venture Group, Intel Capital and SeaPoint Ventures. SinglePoint provides mobile messaging to mobile subscribers, used for interactive television and TV campaigns. More information »
