    Smarsh Acquires Two Finance Industry Service Providers


    Portland, Ore.-based e-mail archiving software publisher Smarsh Inc. announced Monday that it has completed its acquisitions of CentraScan LLC and Financial Visions Inc. Terms of the transactions were not reported. Headquartered in Connecticut, CentraScan is a privately held provider of hosted e-mail management and mission-critical services to hedge funds and other financial institutions. Based in Lafayette, Calif., Financial Visions offers turnkey site-building, e-mail and hosting services to the finance industry. Smarsh is a privately held company that was established in 2001.
