Smarsh Signs New York Financial Advisory Firm

Portland-based Smarsh, the developer of hosted archiving services aimed at the e-discovery and compliance market, reported a customer win this morning with a New York-based financial advisory company. Smarsh said that New York's Heron Financial Group is using its Smarsh Archiving Platform as part of its SEC compliance efforts. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Heron Financial said Smarsh's software is key to helping its one-person compliance department keep time spent on supervision to an hour each week.
