Redmond-based Smilebox, an online site to help families share photos and create slideshows, said today that it has received $2M in follow on funding to its Series B round. The firm said the funding will go towards European expansion of its service. Source of the funding was not disclosed. Smilebox said it will open a new office in Athens, Greece, headed by former VP of Marketing Yannis Dosios, now VP of European Operations for the firm.
