Smilebox Gets $2M More

Redmond-based Smilebox, an online site to help families share photos and create slideshows, said today that it has received $2M in follow on funding to its Series B round. The firm said the funding will go towards European expansion of its service. Source of the funding was not disclosed. Smilebox said it will open a new office in Athens, Greece, headed by former VP of Marketing Yannis Dosios, now VP of European Operations for the firm. Smilebox said it will be launching fully localized versions of its service for top European markets in Q2. More information »
