    SNAPin Software Gets $13M from Oak


    Bellevue, Washington-based SNAPin Software announced this morning that it has closed a $13M Series C round of venture funding from Oak Investment Partners. Oak was joined by Frazier Technology Ventures and Hunt Ventures. SNAPin is developing software for self service help on mobile phones. SNAPin said that the funding would be used to support commercial deployment of its products at mobile operators. The company also said that Tom Huseby, current chairman of the company and a managing partner at SeaPoint Ventures, will continue to represent Oak's seat on its board of directors.
