    SnapNames Cuts In Portland

Oversee.net, a California-based online marketing and Internet domain name monetization firm, has cut 10 percent of its staff, including staffers at the firm's SnapNames Portland offices. SnapNames provided services for managing and buying expired and deleting domain names. Oversee.net had acquired SnapNames in June of 2007. A spokesperson for Oversee.net confirmed the cuts, saying that the company made the cuts in response to the general economic weakness and pressures in the industry. Oversee.net said it now has 24 full time employees in the Portland office.
