SoftBank Gets Clearance From FCC ON Sprint, Clearwire

The Federal Communications Commission said over the long weekend that it has voted unanimously to approve the investment in Sprint by SoftBank, and Sprint's acquisition of Bellevue-based Clearwire. The deal is now expected to close in early July, according to the companies.
