Texas-based Web-hosting service provider SoftLayer announced Monday that it has launched a new datacenter located in Seattle. The company said the new location has 1,000 servers ready for delivery. SoftLayer is a provider of web hosting services; the firm's other data center is in Dallas. Founded in 2005, SoftLayer is also headquartered in Dallas.
