SonoSite Adds To Board

Bothell, Washington-based SonoSite said Thursday afternoon that it has appointed Richard O. Martin, PhD. to its board of directors. SonoSite develops hand held ultrasound medical devices. Martin was most recently President of Medtronic Physio Control Corporation, and previous to that was Chairman and CEO of Physio Control before its acquisitioin by Medtronic. He has also served at Intermedics and Positron Corporation, and is a current board member at CardioDynamics International, Cardiac Dimensions, Prescient Medical, Inovice Medical and PetDRx Corporation.
