SpaceCurve Gets $3.5M

Seattle-based big data software provider SpaceCurve said this morning that it has raised $3.5M in additional funding, an extension of its Series A funding round. The new funding came from Triage Ventures, as well as its existing investors, Reed Elsevier Ventures and Divergent Ventures. SpaceCurve, which is developing "big data" software for capturing and analyzing streams of location-based data, said that Doug Derwin of Triage Ventures joins the company's board with the funding.
