Spoon.net Adds Windows 8 Support

Seattle-based Spoon.net, which develops application virtualization software technology, said this morning that it has added support for Windows 8 and Windows 8 Server to its product. Spoon.net's products allow users to convert existing applications into stand-alone, EXE-based or web applications, making it easier to isolate those applications or deploy them in certain environments. The company's virtualization engine isolates applications from operating system dependencies, and have particularly been targeted at legacy applications which might not run on the latest Windows operating systems. Spoon is led by Kenji Obata.
