    Cingular, Melodeo Offer Mobile Podcasting


    Seattle-based Melodeo and Cingular Wireless said today that Melodeo's Mobilcast podcast service will be available to Cingular customers. The deal means that Cingular customers can search and listen to podcasts from their Cingular phones. The new service will be available to Cingular subscribers for a monthly subscription of $4.99 plus data charges. Melodeo is backed by GF Private Equity Group, Ignition Partners, Intel Capital and Voyager Capital.
