    Intermec Gets RFID Win At University


    Everett, Wash.-based Intermec has scored an equipment win at Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C., the firm said this morning. Financial details of the installation were not disclosed. According to Intermec, Bob Jones University has installed its passive UHF RFID technology to authenticate and control access to its main campus. The equipment is being used to automate verification of faculty, staff, and student vehicles through windshield identification tags. Intermec is a provider of RFID and other tracking technology.
