    Blist Raises $6.5M

Seattle-based Blist, a startup which is developing an online database creation tool, said today that it has raised $6.5M in a Series A investment. The funding came from Frazier Technology Ventures and Morgenthaler Ventures. According to Blist, the funding will go towards accelerating development and marketing of its online database service. Scott Darling of Frazier and Ken Gullicksen of Morgenthaler have joined the firm's board as part of the funding. Blist's database tool is focused on making it easier for consumers to create their own, online databases; the firm is headed by former MessageRite founder Kevin Merritt.
