SourceLabs Rolls Linux, Java Support Offerings

Seattle-based SourceLabs said Tuesday that it has rolled out new tools to help support open source Java and Linux software. The firm said its Self-Support offering for Linux and Java gives developers, corporate IT professionals, and solution providers a way to support their open source software. The firm's new web tool pulls information from blogs, message boards, mailing lists, bug databases, and other sources about problems and error messages encountered in open source software. SourceLabs is venture backed by Ignition Partners, Index Ventures, and Madrona Venture Group.
