    Fanzter Launches Coolspotters


    Fanzter, the Web 2.0 startup backed by Zillow's Rich Barton, Second Avenue Partners, and Curious Office Partners, said this week that it has officially launched a public beta of Coolspotters, a social web application focused on spotting trends and following the fashions of celebrities and other public figures. The firm is looking to tap into pop culture and allows users to share and discover product that celebrities are using. The site launch is being supported by Pepsi, which is the exclusive sponsor. Coolspotters is basedin Collinsville, CT, but all of its investors are from Seattle. Zillow's Rich Barton, Second Avenue's Mike Slade, Nick Hanauer, and Pete Higgins; Curios Office Partners Adrian Hanauer and Kelly Smith; and other, unnamed angel investors are all backing the firm.
