Celartem Opens Seattle-Based Sales, Ops Center

Celartem Technology Inc., a publisher of rich-media content applications, announced Tuesday that it has established a Document Express with DjVu sales and operations center in Seattle. Pronounced déjà vu, DjVu is an alternative computer file format similar to Adobe's PDF. Celartem said the new DjVu headquarters signifies the completion of LizardTech's DjVu management transfer to Celartem. Dr. Hyung Lim, who joined LizardTech in 2001 as marketing director for the DjVu product line, will lead the Seattle office as general manager. Founded in 1996, Celartem Technology is headquartered in Tokyo. Its U.S.-based subsidiary, Celartem Inc., is located in Seattle. As a division of Celartem Inc., LizardTech is based in Seattle, as well. Established in 1992, the company also maintains offices in London and Tokyo.
