    SeaMobile Subsidiary Launches IPTV Platform


    A subsidiary of Seattle-based SeaMobile Enterprises announced Thursday that its premium television video-over-Internet Protocol platform is now available to cruise lines across the globe. Wave Entertainment Network Inc. said its IPTV offering will be delivered via SeaMobile's Maritime Telecommunications Network and will feature popular cable and satellite television channels from major media companies such as A&E Networks, CBS, Comcast, Cox Communications, Discovery Networks, Fox Cable, Fox News, NBC Universal and Viacom. Wave Entertainment added that cruise line guests sailing in the Mediterranean will also be able to view content from European providers, including Euronews, BBC News, BBC Prime and France 24. Wave Entertainment is headquartered in Manhattan Beach, Calif.
