Voyager Capital Opens Portland Office, Targets Oregon

Voyager Capital, a venture capital firm focused on information technology, said today that the firm has opened up an office in Portland, and added a venture partner specifically focused on Internet, software, and digital media investments in the Pacific Northwest. Voyager Capital said that Diane Fraiman has been appointed as Venture Partner at the firm, and will focus particularly on investment in Oregon. Fraiman most recently was at Sanctum (acquired by Watchfire) as SVP of Marketing and Business Development, and Informix (acquired by IBM), where she served as VP of Worldwide Marketing. Aside from those positions, which were in Silicon Valley, Fraiman also has experience at Tektronix and Sequent in Oregon, in addition to work at Digital Equipment Corporation. Voyager also has offices in Seattle and Menlo Park.
