    Values of n Acquired By Twitter


    Portland, Oregon-based Web 2.0 startup Values of N has been acquired by Twitter, the firm said Monday evening. According to Twitter, it acquired Values of n, including its sticky note applications, which allow users to create notes on calendars and other web sites and share them with others. Twitter said that the acquisition came after Rael Dornfest, the firm's founder, decided that Values of n was not going to meet its huge expectations as a standalone business. Dornfest will join Twitter, but Values of n's services will be shut down and incorporated into Twitter's systems. Values of n had scored funding of at least $500,000 in 2006 from First Round Capital, Magnus Ventures, and Sherpalo Ventures.
