    Zoodango Refocuses On Local Search

Seattle-based Zoodango.com, the online site headed by James Sun, best known for his appearance on "The Apprentice," has refocused its site into a new, local search site, and away from its former focus on providing a way for business people to create their own social networks. Zoodango said this morning that it will provide a hyperlocal, map-based online service to help consumers find local venues, businesses, and discounts. The new site offers ratings and reviews of restaurants and businesses and predictions on how much a user might like or dislike a new venue. The firm said it is launching its service in Seattle, Spokane, Portland, San Francisco, and Oakland. The firm said it has scored funding from the Seattle Alliance of Angels as well as other angel investors. Zoodango was originally launched in 2006 focused on helping business professionals network online.
