Kirkland-based HipCricket said today that it has rolled out a new mobile coupon product, which the firm is targeting at retailers and quick service restaurants. HipCricket said its new product allows retailers to provide consumers with promotional codes, which they receive via text messaging on their mobile phones. Those coupons can be used on point-of-sale systems. Pricing and other details on the new mobile coupon service was not announced. HipCricket provides mobile marketing and text messaging services for national brands.
