MyPW Launches Secure Authentication Service
Mercer Island, washington-based MyPW has launched the firm's two-factor password authentication services, the startup said Wednesday. The firm said that companies can use the service to implement two-factor password security using a software application programming interface (API). Two factor authentication uses a secure token that can be carried by a user as a one-time password, and is considered a much higher level of security than passwords and other methods of user authentication. The new service is based on a one-time activation fee and per-user/month charges.
